This song was written years ago and promptly forgotten. It sat in a folder on my music drive for a few years. One day, digging through the folder to see if there were any partial songs that might get me started writing, I found it. I had no idea where it came from, only a very vague memory of having done it. After a little editing and mixing, it became one of my favorite songs that I've written.
Robert Anton Wilson was a very interesting guy. He called himself, "an incorrigible optimist." And his optimism was infectious. He once referenced a poem by William Blake that stuck with me. And that is the origin of this song's title.
